"The Living Rosary" -- Holy Land

Join Franciscan Friar Fr. Angelo, who lives in the Holy Land, for an incredible 8-day "Living Rosary" pilgrimage. At the end of the 8 days, you will have prayed all 20 decades of the Rosary at the sites where each mystery occurred (1 decade per site).

Day 1. Depart Newark or JFK to Tel Aviv on an evening flight

Day 2. We start our pilgrimage to the Holy Land in Tel Aviv, continuing to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged Baal, before continuing to Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee

Day 3. This morning, visit Cana, site of the Wedding Feast Miracle. Couples will have a chance to renew their marriage vows. Afterwards, we continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation before continuing to Mount Tabor, the sight of Transfiguration

Day 4. We begin the day at the Mt. of Beatitudes, followed by Capernaum, home of Jesus and Peter. We have an opportunity to renew our baptismal vows at the Jordan River before continuing to Jerusalem

Day 5. Our first full day in Jerusalem, we will see Mary's tomb and Gethsemane, climb the Mt. of Olives, visit Ascension Chapel, Patre Nostre, Dominus Flevit, and St. Anne's Churches and pray the Stations of the Cross, culminating at the church of the Holy Sepulcher, built on the site where Jesus was crucified

Day 6. This morning we make an excursion to Bethlehem, seeing the Church of the Nativity and having Mass in Shepards' Field. Afterwards, we continue to Ein Karem to visit the Churches of the Visitation and St. John the Baptist. In the afternoon, we return to Jerusalem to visit Mt. Zion, the Dormition Church and the Cenacle before proceeding to the Wailing Wall, the Temple area and St. Peter Galicantu ("St. Peter in Chains")

Day 7. Our final day we drive to Bethany for Mass at the Church of St. Lazarus, built over the remains of the home of Martha, Mary and Lazarus and visit and have a chance to float in the Dead Sea

Day 8. Depart Jerusalem for Newark/JFK
